Thanks to the generosity of so many, we are constantly doing restoration to make the mansion like it was in 1879. We have completed many rooms and restoration continues on others. You really should see what’s been going on at the mansion. It is amazing what we have accomplished since 2010 when we started with our aggressive house museum makeover. Needless to say, our Curator has been extremely busy in order to work his magic and transform the home, room by room, into a grand historical treasure. Even rooms that are not yet restored are very tastefully staged for your viewing pleasure.
Special arrangements must be made for groups of more than 12 people. Private and group tours can be arranged with our Jackson Mansion Tour Guides, by calling 570-520-4110 (Ross & Boone Gift Shoppe) or sending an Email to:info@berwickhistoricalsociety.org
We still have rooms, areas, and projects that have not yet been sponsored. Please contact us if you are interested in helping us realize our dream to complete the restoration of this beautiful Victorian home.
Perhaps you would find it financially easier to sponsor an item we already have in the mansion. We have made that possible through our Antiques Sponsorship Program, by taking pictures of items available for you to select, pay the original purchase price, and have your name listed as the donor of that item in our Donor Booklet. This booklet is provided to everyone who takes a tour. Wouldn’t this be a great way to memorialize a loved one, by sponsoring something in their memory? Call us for more information on this program.
Thank you
